THE DIRECT ANSWER

Let AI prepare the work, but require a person to approve the facts, the destination, and the final publication.

AI should help with the heavy lifting

AI can sort notes, find repeated questions, build an outline, simplify hard language, and check whether a page is missing basic search information. That can save real time.

It should not turn a rough note into a confident public claim without proof. The faster the draft appears, the more important the check becomes.

Separate a source from a fact

A chat, meeting note, or draft can point to useful first-hand evidence. It is not automatic proof. Before publishing, ask what was seen, what was built, what is still planned, and what must stay private.

We remove customer, employee, login, financial, and other private details. We also label a build as a build. We do not call it a result unless the result was measured.

Make the last step hard to fake

A file on a laptop is not a live article. A row in a calendar is not a scheduled post. The finish line is a public page or a platform record that someone can check.

This rule sounds strict. It keeps the team from learning from work that never reached the audience.

Use AI to improve the next run

After publication, AI can help group results by topic, opening line, format, and next step. It can point out patterns. A person should still decide whether the evidence is strong enough to change the plan.

The goal is not to remove judgment. The goal is to give judgment cleaner facts and less busywork.

ORIGINAL WORKSHEET

The prepare-check-publish loop

Use this loop any time AI helps make public content. The person named in step three owns the final call.

  1. 01 · PrepareWhat can AI safely help draft?A headline, outline, plain-language draft, links, or checklist.
  2. 02 · CheckWhat must be verified?Names, dates, claims, links, permissions, privacy, and source notes.
  3. 03 · ApproveWho owns the final decision? One person accepts, changes, or rejects the work.
  4. 04 · PublishWhat proves the work is live?A public URL, post number, or platform confirmation.
  5. 05 · ReviewWhat should change next time?One evidence-backed lesson with a review date.

Four takeaways

  • Use AI to prepare, organize, simplify, and check.
  • Verify every public claim against a real source.
  • Keep one person responsible for final approval.
  • Require a live URL or platform record as publication proof.

THE LEADERSHIP RECORD

Technology leadership requires judgment

The country needs leaders who can understand powerful technology without becoming distracted by hype. My standard is to make new tools useful, keep people responsible for important decisions, protect the truth, and measure whether the work actually improves.

This article is one part of a larger public record: learning in public, taking responsibility, and preparing for leadership at the highest level.
