Tim Yslava is a Los Angeles–based founder, operator, and civic builder who makes complicated technology useful in real work. He founded TradeLab, an AI workspace that helps traders turn ideas into clear rules, historical tests, paper-trading systems, and user-controlled automation.
Tim also contributes to technology and growth initiatives within his family's Masterline businesses, where field service, construction, and everyday operating constraints provide a demanding test for new software. He was accepted to the University of California, Berkeley and declined the offer to continue pursuing business. He was also named a Forbes Under 30 Scholar and Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar.
He built the first private website draft for the California Young Republicans, which the organization approved as its new direction, and documented a proposed roadmap for connected, permission-based infrastructure. That project sits alongside a documented record of community advocacy and public-service roles. Across business and service, his aim is the same: make institutions more capable, earn trust through results, and prepare for greater public responsibility over time.
Tim publishes plain-English lessons from that work for builders, business owners, and anyone trying to use AI without giving up common sense or human responsibility.
His work starts with local responsibility and real operating problems, then reaches toward a larger question: how technology, business, and public institutions can help people thrive in an increasingly connected world.
